Happy alone AKA Lonely God in Taichung

A one-man touring show arrives in Taichung!

This is a story about one person.

They say theater is something created by a group of people.

But what if this time, from front stage to backstage,

there’s only one person?

How lonely would that be?

The beauty of theater often lies in people working together.

But if one person does everything alone—

can that same beauty still exist?

Did I put on a performance... or just stage my own solitude?

I eat alone, travel alone, wander, pause, and keep going.

I rig the lights, perform, direct, and design—alone.

Is this an addiction to solitude,

or am I just broke and all I’ve got is myself?

If doing one thing well in life is enough to call it fulfillment,

then what happens if one person does many things—

in the theater?

Would that make them instantly enlightened?

I don’t know. I only know this:
